Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m a self-taught digital illustrator, and graphic designer from Sydney, Australia, with an insatiable obsession with colour and style.
In 2017, my life changed dramatically when a mysterious illness triggered a dormant brain injury, and saw me in the hospital with left side paralysis. In a strange twist of fate (kind of like a super power), and as a direct result of this injury, my illustration and design abilities improved greatly.
Throughout my recovery, they became an essential part in helping me communicate and process my emotions. Thankfully my paralysis is gone and my ability to communicate effectively has returned … And with it a renewed zest for life and wanting to continue spending my days designing and doing what I love.
olour and style have always been a major component of my life. Prior to illustration and design, I was heavily involved in the interior design, fashion, and beauty industries. I have always been passionate about finding the beauty in everything and conveying it in my work. Because of this, I believe I am truly at my best when I can bring experiences to life through design.
Whether that’s through an idea that suddenly comes to me or an experience I’ve had, I enjoy adding a fun twist on life’s crazy ups and downs. I enjoy bringing this to life through in my work, and love helping others to do the same.
